Cody Downard
Real estate agent serving Teton Valley, ID and Jackson Hole, WY
My story
I moved to the mountains straight out of college for the lifestyle and outdoor activities. I started out as a park ranger in Yellowstone, then went on to work as a photographer in Eagle County Colorado for 15 years. Along the way, I gained hands-on experience renovating a couple of condos and building 2 homes. Now, I help people find their mountain home so they can enjoy the lifestyle I've been lucky to have for the past 30 years. I work with buyers and sellers throughout Teton Valley and Jackson Hole, helping them find a spot that truly fits the mountain life they're after. If you're looking for your spot to support your mountain lifestyle, I'd love to help you find it! I got into real estate because I wanted to help people navigate one of the biggest decisions of their lives with someone they could actually trust. I'm not a slick salesperson and not a corporate guy who's never hiked a trail in the valley, I'm just a friendly 13+ year local who knows the market, knows the community, and genuinely cares about finding the right house or selling one.
Whether you're a first-time buyer looking for land in Tetonia, a townhome in Victor, a starter home in Driggs, or are are looking for a ski condo in Teton Village, I bring the same honest, friendly approach to every conversation.

How I work
Honest advice, always
I'll tell you what I actually think even if it's not what you want to hear. My job is to protect your interests, not close a deal.
Deep local knowledge
I know which neighborhoods melt off first in spring, which roads are rough in winter, and which properties have the best sunrise views. That's the kind of insight you only get from someone who lives here.
No pressure, ever
Buying or selling a home is a big deal. I'll never rush you. We move at your pace, and I'm here for every question along the way.
Let's talk
Whether you're ready to make a move or just starting to explore, I'd love to have a conversation. No obligation, no pressure, just honest talk about what's possible in the Tetons.
